Tianma Golf & Country Club - Shanghai

This project boasts 27 holes of championship standard golf with extensive practice facilities. It will include 300 x 5 star residential villas and courtyard homes, clubhouse and resort facilities. The initial 18 holes were opened in 1999 with a Par of 72, 7010 yards. The site is 40 minutes from Shanghai central and was originally very flat flood prone land but has now been transformed into a forested landscape with extensive lake systems.

 

Phoenix Golf Course
The Lake Hill Golf Resort - Haining

This 36 hole resort complex includes a 200 room resort hotel and residential villas. The two eighteen hole layouts are designed by different companies with Pacific Coast Design undertaking the Phoenix Course which includes the residential villas and NH undertaking the New Lake Course.

The development company is Lake Hill Golf (Haining) Ltd. The Phoenix Golf Course is a Par 72 of 7188 yards in length. PCD has Master Planned the resort / residential area to reflect the high standard expected in today's China market and the Golf Course is set to become a sought after destination for the region.

 

Longshan Lake Golf - Nanjing

Pacific Coast Design have been engaged by Lake Hill Golf (Nanjing) Ltd. to Master Plan the entire site including the golf residential / resort zone and then detail design the 18 hole Golf Course near the township of Jurong.

The Site is approximately 10 minutes from the main township of Jurong and is partly utilising the existing east bank of Longshan Lake. The site is gently undulating with numerous small hills, which protrude at various locations that can provide visual backdrops to some holes. Other areas have lower depressions that have been integrated in a series of lake systems. The envisaged moderate earthworks to be undertaken will transform the site into an exciting venue for resort golf to international standards.

The Golf Course is planned for a championship / resort style 18 holes, Par 72 at 7,068 yards and will be supported by the following planned facilities.

  • Club / Restaurant / Bar / Change facilities & Sports Shop
  • Hotel / Corporate Conferencing / Health Spa / Gymnasium
  • Golf Academy (training, teaching and practice facilities)
  • A range of residential villas interacting with golf views

The Golf Course has multiple teeing systems and is designed to present a great game of golf to golfers of any handicap. The layout best utilises the site features of water and hills to provide variation and strategy to the golf game.

 

 The Hong Kong Golf Club

During 1999 Pacific Coast Design was selected by the Club to create the Master Plan covering the Eden, New and Old Golf Courses (54 holes). PCD has redesigned holes on the Eden and Old Courses to date as well as planned the new golf cart path for the Eden Course. An ongoing consultancy continues with PCD working with the Committee and management to address design considerations.

 

Shek O Golf Course Hong Kong Island

PCD has redesigned this unique Golf Course with Holes 5, 6, 7 (1999 to 2000), 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 (redeveloped – 2002) and holes on the Upper Course being redeveloped in a progressive manner. Whist retaining the special character of Shek O the new works have greatly improved playing surfaces, safety and golf strategy.

The changes have resulted in the Master Plan report prepared by PCD for the Club in June, 2000.

 

Sanya Bay Golf - Hainan Island

Pacific Coast Design have been engaged by the Luneng Group to site Master Plan this golf residential / hotel resort project and detail design the 18 hole Golf Course as part of the group’s overall project extending along the beach area being developed just outside of the city of Sanya (Hainan Island) in China. The site is wonderfully set between the Airport and the sea giving it a great location for visitors to Sanya. Given the project location the site will be transformed into an exciting venue for resort golf to international standards.

The new 18 hole golf course will be of resort style, Par 72 at 7,153 yards to be enjoyed by golfers of any handicap.

 

CiTee Golf Club Beijing - Beijing

Pacific Coast Design have been engaged by Beijing Jiudingxuan Peace Gym Club Co. Ltd. to Master Plan a new Par 72, 18 hole golf course to international standards on the former Riviera Golf Club site.

 

The Golf Course has multiple teeing systems and is designed to present a great game of golf to golfers of all handicap ranges. Whilst it is a compact layout it does offer varied challenges by use of strategic bunkering and water hazards however the golf course is also designed to allow safer passages to the greens if desired by golfers. If they wish to take on a challenge they can choose to do so and if successful are rewarded by a lower score.

 

The CiTee Golf Club Beijing is a Par 72 of 6668 yards in length.

 

 

 

 

Wendeng Golf- Wendeng

During 2007, PCD was selected by the Xin Dong Yang Group for the planning and design of the proposed 27 hole golf course at Wendeng, Shandong Province.

 

The site for the golf course area allocated for the design is, 2,518,938 m2 (3778MU) which incorporates the club, hotel,commercial areas, villa areas and maintenance building areas. 

 

The site is in two portions, with the first being set under a large forest covered mountain and the second portion being across the road next to the river which runs down the valley.  Given the projects location and the envisaged earthworks to be undertaken, the site will be transformed into an exciting venue for both championship and resort golf and international standards.

 

The golf course is planned as a championship 27 holes:

 

- Holes 1 to 9 A Course is Par 36 or 3,606 yards

- Holes 1 to 9 B Course is Par 36 of 3,611 yards

- Holes 1 to 9 C Course is Par 36 of 3,602 yards

 

 

 

Chengdu Country Club - Chengdu

Chengdu Country Club is an exciting new 18 hole golf course only 20 minutes from the central city area. PCD had been engaged by the Club to develop a site plan which includes the 18 hole golf course, Golf Academy, Club and proposed 200 room hotel. PCD have worked closely with the well renowned Chinese Golf Management Consultant company, Seven Ray (www.sevenraygolf.com) whose expertise has greatly assisted the process.

The Par 72 layout of 7202 yards is an exciting 18 holes with predominantly north / south orientation set along a linear lake system. Golfers will really enjoy the gentle undulations over the different holes and the use of hazards to create differing options for golf depending upon the tee chosen for the day. A special feature of the Par 3, 175 yards hole that sits between the hotel and main lake is the dolphins bunkers (in honor of the owner) that seemingly have them jumping out of the lake onto the green.
