Robert Cairns – Asian Regional Manager (India)
Robert Cairns has nearly thirty years experience in golf turf management and construction and will be based in Pune, India. He joins PCD from his latest role as Golf Course Superintendent at the Headland Golf Club in Queensland.
Robert has previously worked with PCD Clients for five years in India so he is an old hand with respect to conditions there. Robert will be representing PCD (in association with Prakash Alvares who is based in Bangalore), maintaining quality control at PCD construction sites and also offering PCD Clients post construction quality assurance turf management consultancy in support of their local golf superintendents and management.

Prakash Alvares / India
Prakash has been associated with PCD since 1996. He is a qualified Architect and Landscape Architect but has concentrated on Landscape Architecture / contracting. Prakash assists PCD in landscape design of Golf projects in India whilst still undertaking his own Golf Project Management, landscaping design / contracting business.
Prakash has been involved in the Project Management (Golf Construction) of the PCD designed Eagleton Golf Village, Bangalore Golf Club, Chickmunglar Golf Club, Unitech Karma Lakelands, Oxford Golf and Clover Greens Golf Courses.
